Creation of a brand identity system, personality, narrative and shopper experience design for a national brand.
We created the Frank and Honest brand to activate an emotional connection with customers by being the down-to-earth coffee brand. We identified an opportunity for the brand to be the no-nonsense coffee in a world of coffee faffery, and defined the brand personality and narrative to establish shared values between brand and shoppers. We created the brand identity system of logo, colour and texture palette, typography family and photography guide to activate this concept across the customer experience journey.
We brought this branding system to life across packaging, informed the style for automated bean to cup units as well as creating the house brand style for stand-alone Frank and Honest cafés through packaging, menus, counter finishes and wall decor.
